In 2019, the highly praised Nordic String Quartet made the first ever collected recording of Dalberg’s three string quartets. The album was released at Dacapo Records, and at the same time the works were published by Edition·S. 

The review of the album in the Danish newspaper, Politiken, said: "The first string quartet is lively and classic, while the second is wild and dramatic [...] the third is experimental and fierce, and all three should make it to many concert programmes in the future."
