On Tuesday, May 4, his new work for Gu Zheng solo and symphony orchestra, Ouvertures, will be premiered by the French Radio Philharmonic Orchestra during the Shanghai Spring International Music Festival.
The new work builds on to another composition, premiered in 2008, also in Shanghai, which won the young composer not only a 25,000 USD award, but also a commission form the French Radio for this week’s new work.
