Edition·S søger ny direktør. Forlaget har i de seneste år gennemgået en markant forandring med fokus på en skarp kunstnerisk profil, partnerskaber med danske og internationale festivals og ensembler og synliggørelse af levende danske komponister og deres værker i ind- og udland.
Vi søger en direktør/kunstnerisk leder med lyst til at konsolidere denne udvikling og skabe fremtidens succes’er for ny dansk kunstmusik og lydkunst på den levende koncertscene. Et menneske, der vil sætte sit personlige kunstneriske præg på forlaget og arbejde for at skabe nye resultater for vores komponister og repertoire i en branche i forandring; i en branche med mange muligheder.
Du har stor viden om ny dansk musik og har organisatorisk og ledelsesmæssig erfaring. Du har tæft for samarbejde og networking, også internationalt, og har sans for kvalitet. Gode sprogkundskaber og strategiske evner. Du kan bevare overblikket og er glad for at omgås levende kunstnere i din dagligdag.

Edition·S – music¬sound¬art er et musikforlag, der udgiver kunstmusik til den klassiske og eksperimenterende musikscene. Vi repræsenterer vores komponister gennem udgivelse af noder, elektroniske og grafiske formater og interdisciplinære udtryk, og gennem management af levende komponister. Edition·S har en stærk kunstnerisk profil. Forlaget opererer både i Danmark og på den internationale scene i et felt af ensembler, orkestre, festivals og andre af branchens professionelle aktører.
Edition·S bor i det gule Musikkens Hus på Gråbrødretorv i det indre København i et levende og inspirerende fagligt fællesskab med andre af genrens institutioner og foreninger. Vi har 8 medarbejdere fordelt på 4,4 årsværk, samt praktikanter.
Edition·S er en selvejende institution og modtager støtte fra Statens Kunstråds Musikudvalg. Næste rammeaftale for perioden 2013-16 er p.t. under forhandling.

Edition·S – music¬sound¬art seeks a new director/artistic leader
Edition·S is looking for a new director. In the last few years the company has undergone significant change, focusing on an sharp artistic profile, partnerships with festivals and ensembles in Denmark and abroad, and promotion of living Danish composers and their works internationally.
We seek a director/artistic leader with the ambition to consolidate this policy and achieve future successes for contemporary Danish art music and sound art on the live scene. An individual who will make his/her personal artistic mark on the company and strive to achieve new results for our composers and repertoire in an environment of rapid change and manifold opportunities.
The successful applicant will have wide knowledge of contemporary Danish music combined with organizational and managerial experience. He/she will have a talent for collaboration and networking in both the national and the international context, and a recognizable sense of quality. Good language skills and strategic abilities. Clarity of vision and enthusiasm for daily interaction with living artists.
Salary and conditions of employment: To be negotiated.

Edition·S – music¬sound¬art publishes art music for the classical and experimental music scene. We represent our composers through the publication of scores, parts, electronic media, graphic formats and interdisciplinary expression; as well as management and the personal appearance of living artists. Edition·S has a strong artistic profile. We operate both at home and internationally in an arena of ensembles, orchestras, festivals and other professionals.
Edition·S has its offices in the yellow House of Music on Gråbrødretorv in the centre of Copenhagen, where we enjoy lively and inspiring interaction with other institutions and societies within the genre. We have eight salaried employees (equivalent to 4.4 FTE) and a number of interns.
Edition·S is a self-governing institution subsidized by the Music Committee of the Danish Arts Council. The operating contract for the coming period from 2013 to 2016 is currently being negotiated.
