Line Tjørnhøj installation in Lithuania

2012-05-11

The festival season is upon us, and this means a performance calendar that is a bit more packed than usual for our composers. The next festival in line is the Druskomanija Festival for contemporary music, which will take place in three different locations in Lithuania: The picturesque resort town of Druskininkai, the capital Vilnius and the Holy Trinity Church in Liškiava.

The festival kicks off on Wednesday May 16 in Vilnius and moves on to Druskininkai and Liškiava for the weekend.

Edition·S will be represented by Line Tjørnhøj, whose new installation work Portrait will be premiered at the Art Gallery SOFA on May 19. The work is a collaboration between Tjørnhøj, digital media artist Signe Klejs and anthropologist Birgitte Stampe.

All festival events are free of charge.
